LIVE: Driving Our Dreams Exhibit at the Heritage Museum & Gardens

Light Positive has been the lighting designer for many museum exhibits and art shows over the years, but the “Driving Our Dreams” exhibit currently on display at the Heritage Museum & Gardens, in Sandwich, MA is a special one.  Nancy Goldstein, our Principal, is a car aficionado so when she was asked to light this exhibit she was beyond excited to accept!

The “Driving Our Dreams” exhibit is a rare collection of concept cars along with examples of what today’s designers are dreaming up for the future of automotive transportation. An excerpt from the exhibit website:

“They are the cars upon which dreams are built – daring designs and unbridled concepts which were born as futuristic pathways to our automotive tomorrows. They are conjured up in the fertile minds of America’s most imaginative designers.”

A 1950’s Buick Centurion, a car rarely displayed in public before.

1986 Corvette Indy.  Did you know the original design of the corvette had the engine located in the middle for more even weight distribution?

The “Driving Our Dreams” exhibit is one of the largest collections of concept cars to be displayed in one place and a must see of any car enthusiast. The exhibit is currently open to museum attendees and will remain open until October 27, 2013.  For more information on the exhibit, the Heritage Museum & Gardens and ticket information, click here.
